Sofi Aguilera
At seventeen, Sofi became Mexico’s youngest published author. She is the author of “The Lost Origin”, “Star Blood” and “The Fragmented” series.
She won the award “Writers of Tomorrow” and was named one of the most influential women in Mexico by Quien magazine at nineteen.
Sofi wants to keep one foot in the future and get involved with technologies that are making fiction turn into reality through science. Sofi holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Rice University, holds patents for medical device innovations, and is co-author of a peer-reviewed research paper in genetic engineering for cancer therapies based on her work at Hilton Lab. Sofi currently works at SVG Ventures THRIVE as a Senior Innovation Associate, looking to find startups in agriculture, food, and climate building a more sustainable future.
